Core Speciality - Fabrication

Pegasus Manufacturing has the capability and experience to precision bend and join through welding & brazing thin and heavy wall, round, square, rectangular, and custom extrusions from a full range of materials, including Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum, and Stainless.  Capabilities for tubes sizes from micro to 3.5” outside diameter include:

  • Electronic CNC Tube Benders (Crippa) with boost bending capability that eliminates the need for expensive compound tooling and allows for CNC bending of long sweeps versus traditional slower & more expensive hand bending
  • Programmable Multi-axis CNC multi radius bending as well as single radius NC bending
  • Romer and FARO portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) with non-contact scanning and modeling features
  • Stock tooling and complete in-house tool room
  • Rotary draw bending and multi-radius compound bending, with ram and rotary end forming
  • Dedicated CNC machining equipment and personnel for in house manufacturing of machine details that are joined to complete our complex tube assemblies
  • Press forming
  • 1-D Bend capability
  • Manufacturing layout in part family cells with offline prekiting and visual management
  • State of the art orbital auto welders with capability to 3” fusion welds (NADCAP certified)
  • Torch and induction brazing (NADCAP certified)
  • Thermal-Dynamics 300 AMP Syncro Wave TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welders (NADCAP certified)
  • Pressure test capability to 10,000 lbs PSI
  • Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) – NADCAP Certified
